How Many Teeth Do Cats Have

   Cats are fascinating creatures with unique features, including their teeth. As carnivores, their teeth are perfectly adapted to help them catch, kill, and eat their prey. But just how many teeth do cats have, and what do they use them for?  Let's find out.  An adult  cat typically has 30 teeth  in total, divided into four types: incisors, canines, premolars, and molars. These teeth are designed to perform specific functions, such as grabbing, tearing, and grinding food.  The incisors are located at the front of the cat's mouth and are used for biting and grooming. Cats have 12 incisors in total, six in the upper jaw and six in the lower jaw. These teeth are relatively small and straight, and their primary function is to nibble and scrape meat from bones.  The canines, also known as fangs, are the long, sharp teeth located at the corners of the cat's mouth.
